3.6. Philadelphia: [Chosen Kehila | 144.000 | the Few | True Yahudim] (Rev.3:7-13)
This is the congregation of the Chosen Few, they have the Name of the Father and also His Word, which is the Name of the Son (Rev.14:1, 19:13). These follow the Lamb wherever he goes, although sometimes they have difficulty due to the flesh (Rev. 3: 8, 14: 4). Mainly, it is those who fulfill the New Commandment to believe in the Name of the Son Yahushua HaMashiach and love the neighbor as oneself (1Jn.3:23).
Revelation 3:7-13 [Jupiter] (Shemini Atzeret) [Harvest | Transformation]
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia [“Brotherly Love”] write, ‘These things says He who is set-apart [Kadosh], He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word [Yahushua], and have not denied My name [Yahweh]. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Yahudim and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept the word of my patience (2Pe.3:9), I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My Elohim, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the New Yerushalaim, which comes down out of heaven from My Elohim. And I will write on him My new name. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.” ’
Key points about Philadelphia:
- They have little strength, but keep the Word (Yahushua) and His Name (Yahweh).
- The Jews will have to recognize that these are the true Yahudim.
- They will be protected from the trial the whole world will pass (The Great Tribulation).
- They must retain the Word and the Name, to receive Salvation and the Crown.
- They will have the Names on their foreheads and the new Name, of the 2nd coming.
- He who overcomes will be part of the Temple; the Last will become the Pillar Boaz.
3.6.1. Meaning of Philadelphia: “Brotherly Love”
The name of this Kehila identifies the type of people who belong to the Chosen Congregation as those who love their neighbor as themselves, which means that they are the ones who fulfill all the commandments (Rm.13:9, Gl.5:14, Jam.2:8). The description given by the Messiah, regarding this kehila, reveals that they keep the new commandment given by Yahweh through Yahuchanan (1Jn.3:23), which is to believe in the Name of the Son and love one another; therefore, it is understood that this is the congregation that will be saved from the Great Tribulation, during the harvest of the wheat, to be transformed without experiencing death (1Pe.1:5, 1Cor.15:51-54, Rev.14:15-16).
3.6.2. Luminary: Jupiter
Jupiter is known as the King Planet, which is why in Greek Mythology they have connected this star with Zeus, the leader of the gods (Satan). However, what the Enemy has done, through his worshipers, is to try to take possession of the honor that only belongs to the Creator, including the representations given in the firmament through constellations and wandering stars, in the same way that he has replaced, in the vocabulary of the masses, the name of Yahweh by that of God (Fortune), which is one of the many names used by the enemy (Is.65:11). In fact, the position that Heilel rejected through his rebellion, as leader in the 2nd Heaven, will be be given to the Conqueror of the 1st Seal, the 2nd manifestation of Yahweh on earth, who comes to take the position of Great King (Melek Gadol), just as Yahushua, the First, came to fulfill the function of High Priest (Kohen Gadol). (Hb.3:1, 4:14, 6:19-20)
It is for this reason that Jupiter (Planet King) represents the Last (Great King), and the fact that it is a wandering star (Nm.24:17), has to do with the way in which the Witness like Moshe would manifest, since unlike Yahushua, he would come into the world and fall into sin after being born in confusion, like the rest of humanity, which is represented by Zerubbabel and the parable of the Prodigal Son (Lk.15:11-32). This is also symbolized by King David, whom Mashiach mentions in the message to Philadelphia by saying that he has the key of David (Is.22:22), whose sin is mentioned in Scripture (1Ki.15:5), but in spite of this, by his genuine repentance, he is called a man after Yahweh's own heart (1Sm.13:14, 2Sm.12:13, Ac.13:22). This is a similar story to that of Moshe, who was chosen by Yahweh some time after he was born in Egypt and killed a man, by executing Yahweh’s Justice (Ex.2:11-12).
Therefore, Jupiter is the Luminary that is connected with this Kehila, since the Last is the person Yahushua sends as the leader of this congregation during the end times. In fact, the Malakim (“Angels”) are represented by Stars and each congregation has a Malak over it, like the luminaries placed on each deposit of the Menorah. Among them, the Malak of Philadelphia, MikaEl (“Michael”), is Yahushua’s Messenger and Scripture prophesies, in the book of Daniel, that he will stand up at the end of time to confirm the Covenant as the Great Prince of the People. This means that the incarnation of MikaEl on earth is the one who will congregate the Chosen and manifest Justice, which in Hebrew is “Tzedek” [צדק] and it happens to be also the name of Jupiter. This will be explained in more detail in the section about the prophetic shadows that are found in Scripture in connection with this congregation, but it clearly confirms the relation between Philadelphia, Jupiter, Justice and the Last, who is the incarnation of Mikael. In addition, the role of this person will be explained in greater depth in chapter 11, while the 12th chapter reveals the sign in the heavens announcing his manifestation.
3.6.3. Assembly: Shemini Atzeret (8th Day Assembly)
By following the line of assemblies that have to be fulfilled in these end times and connecting each of them with each congregation, one can see how the last assembly, which is Shemini Atzeret, is perfectly represented by the Kehila of Philadelphia. This is a convocation of which very little is taught, since it is mentioned just a few times in Scripture (Lv.23:39, Nm.29:35, 2Cr.7:9, Ne.8:18), in addition to the simple fact that the subject of the Assemblies of Yahweh is not one that is discussed in many Christian Churches, so if a person does not know about Pesach, Matzot, Shavuot or Sukkot, there are less chances that he or she will know about Shemini Atzeret, despite being perhaps the most important, in terms of what the kehila expects to manifest. This lack of knowledge of the subject by the believers turns out to be a great problem, since it is necessary to identify the assembly correctly and celebrate it, in order to be present during its majestic fulfillment, since its representation and manifestation is a mystery that Yahweh reveals through Scripture and his Spirit. The Assemblies will be explained in chapter 11, however, for now it is worth mentioning the characteristics of Shemini Atzeret which are directly related to the congregation of Philadelphia.
The name of this convocation has to do with the fact that it is celebrated the day after the last of Sukkot, so it is known as the Assembly of the 8th day, which can also be understood as the 8th Assembly (Pesach [1st] , Matzot [2nd], Bikurim [3rd], Shavuot [4th], Yom Teruah [5th], Yom Kippur [6th], Sukkot [7th], Shemini Atzéret [8th]). The number 8 represents the Covenant that Yahweh made with Abraham, in which he agreed to circumcise his son on the 8th day after his birth. In addition, it symbolizes a new beginning, since the fact that the week has 7 days, makes the 8th day the beginning of the new cycle. This is why the creation was made in 7 days, to determine that history would last 7 millennia and then Eternity would come, which would have been the 8th millennium; but nevertheless it will be the moment in which a new beginning will start, with new Heavens and a new Earth, which is why the number 8 is of utmost importance in regard to the time in which the chosen congregation will obtain the promise of the covenant, having a new beginning in eternity, after being transformed in the blink of an eye, when they will instantly receive their new bodies, getting rid of sinful flesh, which was represented by the circumcision of the 8th day.
It is interesting that Mashiach mentions, in the letter to this Kehila, to be Set-Apart, as was Yitzhak, who represents Yahushua, having been the first man to be circumcised on the 8th day. In addition, Mashiach promises to write on those who overcome his New Name and that of the New Yerushalaim, which alludes to the symbolism of the number 8 and the fact that the Chosen will be the ones who will reign over the New Yerushalaim, after having recognized him during his Second Manifestation, although appearing with another Name, which is reflected by the fact that Yaakov, who represents the Last, received a new name later in his life, when he was called Yisrael; to show in this way, a direct connection between the New Name that the Son of man will receive during his manifestation, with the name that Yahweh will give to the New Yerushalaim. (Gn.35:10; 1Ki18:31; Is.43:1, 45:4, 62:2; Jr.23:6, 33:16; Rev.3:12)
Therefore, it is in Shemini Atzéret, the Assembly that connects with Philadelphia, that the 7th Trumpet of Revelation, which is the Final Trumpet, will sound, as Paulus prophesied (1Cor.15:52), at which time the expected harvest of Revelation 14 will happen, that is the transformation of the Chosen, reason why the Messiah tells Philadelphia that he has set before them “an open door, and no one can shut it” (Jn.10:9, Rev.3:8). Now, knowing the exact day of the year in which the Assembly is celebrated (22nd of the 7th) and therefore when the Harvest will be fulfilled, is not all we need, since today there are many false calendars, therefore it is not so simple to truly recognize the day, month or year we are in. On the one hand, this has to do with the fact that the Gregorian calendar has become the main one in the world and that is not the one Yahweh established, while in regards to the Jewish calendars, there are several versions depending on the opinion of different people regarding how it should be calculated.
In spite of this, there is a particular calendar, in which most orthodox Jews agree, to keep the order of the days and to celebrate all their feasts; however, this is perhaps the one with the most problems, since it was modified so that they do not break specific commandments of men, in addition to wanting to confuse and divert those who would find Mashiach through what the calendar reveals, which means that it has to do directly with their rebellion and their rejection of the true Messiah. Besides this, in the Jewish mentality, the Assemblies are only to remember what happened in the Exodus, without understanding that they are rather appointments with Yahweh, since everything that happened at that time and which Moshe recorded, was for us to know how and when the 2nd Exodus would take place, which will be the departure of the kehila from this world, which in the same way as Egypt keeps people enslaved to sin, but Yahweh will redeemed his chosen through the Two Witness and they will finally enter the true promised land.
Philadelphia is the only congregation to which the Almighty promises to keep “from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world”, therefore it is the only kehila to be taken during the Final Trumpet; so it is confirmed that this kehila is directly connected to Shemini Atzéret, which is when this event will be fulfilled. Yahweh declares that he will save this congregation for having kept the word of his patience, to refer to those who confess and persevere in the Name Yahushua, since as mentioned above, the Word is the Name of the Son (Rev.19:13); while on the other hand, Scripture declares that Yahweh is being patient to save us (2Pe.3:9), so logically, the word of his patience is the name that gives us salvation, Yahu-Shua (Yahweh-Saves). (Ac.4:12)

and consider that the patience of our Sovereign is for salvation—as also our beloved brother Paulus, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,
3.6.4. Doctrine: “Chosen”
Since the congregation of Philadelphia is the only one that Yahweh promises to save, it is clear that it is the kehila of the Chosen Few, who are scattered throughout the four corners of the earth. As explained above, these are the ones who remain set-part and confess the Name of the Father and the Son, in addition to loving their neighbor as themselves. This does not mean that the other congregations will be condemned to hell, but they will have to go through death before they can enter the Kingdom of Yahweh.
The conclusion that the word 'chosen' refers simply to those who will receive eternal life from the Almighty, is due to an incorrect interpretation of Yahushua's words in stating that “many are called, but few are chosen” (Mt.22:14). The key is in the fact that it does not say “all are called”, since by saying “many”, Yahushúa is making it clear that he is not taking into account those who will be condemned to hell, which could not be deduced if he said “all”, since if all are called and few are chosen, then only the chosen could enter the Kingdom, since all are called to repentance; however, in saying that many are called, but few are chosen, he is saying that among all men, those who believe are called, but those who confess are chosen (Rm.10:10). The Messiah identifies three groups by mentioning only the two folds of believers, while unbelievers are included by omission through the words that Yahushua chose. There is a big difference between those who are called and therefore will be resurrected after death, from those who are chosen to be transformed so as not to experience death; which is that the Many that are called will be the Nation, while the chosen Few will be the Melekim and Kohanim (“Kings and Priests”).
3.6.5. Mirror in the Scripture
As in the previous sections, there are several prophetic shadows in Scripture that connect with the message for this congregation. In this case we will examine two examples, given the relevance of this Kehila; one in which we will interpret the luminaries negatively, by connecting them with false-elohim; while the second will be to understand the positive fulfillment and confirm the second manifestation of Yahweh on earth as the Last.
Bel [Jupiter] bows down, Nebo [Mercury] stoops;
Their idols were on the beasts and on the cattle.
Your carriages were heavily loaded,
A burden to the weary beast.
They stoop, they bow down together;
They could not deliver the burden,
But have themselves gone into captivity.
Here you can see both elohim, Jupiter and Mercury, being mentioned in the same way as in the story of the book of Acts, in which BarNavi and Paulus were confused with these entities, which reveals, once again, that there is a direct connection between the luminaries and what they represent; as well as with the congregations of Philadelphia and Smyrna, as noted above.
On this occasion, in a negative sense, these luminaries symbolize the 1st and 2nd Beast; the World Leader is represented by Bel, while the False-Prophet by Nebo. A confirmation of this is that the previous verses prophesy that the fall of both will occur at the same time, just as the Apocalypse predicts that the Beast and the False-Prophet will be cast alive in the Lake of Fire at the same time (Rev.19:20). In addition, YishaYahu (“Isaiah”) mentions the destruction of the idols of Bel and Nebo, which allude to the idols of “God” and “Jesus” found among Christians around the world today and which are used by Catholics during processions, just like the previous text refers to when mentioning that their images are placed on the beasts and on the cattle, because they cannot move. As the verse says, these false elohim will be humiliated, both those who believe in idols to worship them, and the angels and demons themselves who are revered through their respective lights, images and different names.
It is interesting to note that the false mighty one Bel, whose name is another version of Baal (“Lord”), was represented by Jupiter, whose image is in the Vatican, where it is worshiped as the image of “Peter”; so once again, it is confirmed that in the Catholic religion they do not seek to worship the Creator or the Messiah, instead they simply praise Baal (Bel / Jupiter), through the translation of his name, which is “Lord”, while they deceive the masses telling them that the image is Peter and then use the title claiming that they speak of the Messiah, in the same way that the spirit of Nebo is manifested through the Pope, who is the envoy of the “Lord” and supposed successor of “Peter”. On the other hand, since Jupiter (Bel) is Zeus in Greek mythology, it can be deduced that he is also called “God”; just as Nebo (Mercury) is connected with Azazel, the False-Messiah, which is therefore linked to the name “Jesus”.
The connection with the congregation of Philadelphia, whose luminary is Jupiter, has to do with the fact that it will be through the Malak of the chosen Kehila, that Yahweh will expel the Dragon (Satan) from the 2nd Heaven, whose place will be subsequently taken by the Prophet like Moshe; which indicates that it is through the 2 Witnesses and the Chosen Congregation, that Yahweh will bring down the World Leader and the False Prophet, as well as Bel and Nebo.
The following prophetic shadow is even more revealing and it is related to what Mashiach promises to the overcomer in his letter to Philadelphia, kehila which is deeply related to the names and the positive things that are about to manifest on earth, since those from the chosen Congregation of the end times, are those who have the name of the Father and the Son written on their foreheads (Rev.14:1), in addition to being the only ones who will recognize Mashiach during his 2nd manifestation, when he shall appear with a different name.
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My Elohim, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the New Yerushalaim, which comes down out of heaven from My Elohim. And I will write on him My new Name.
Here is something very interesting that confirms the fact that “the Overcomer”, according to the singular interpretation, refers to the second coming, since there were only two pillars built in the Temple, called Yachin and Boaz (1Re.7:21, 2Cr.3:17); therefore, one represents Yahushua, the first manifestation of Yahweh on earth, while the other represents the Last. Yachin means “He will Establish”, so it symbolizes Yahushua, the Cornerstone, who established the forgiveness of sins and the Kingdom of Yahweh for all those who believe in him. On the other hand, Boaz, which means “with Strength” or “with Power”, refers to the 2nd manifestation, who will complete Yahweh's plan physically and will execute his Justice on earth, since we can do all things through Messiah who strengthens us. This reveals a great mystery of the book of Ruth, where the Last, Mashiach BenYahusef, is represented by Boaz, the 2nd redeemer (Rt.3:13, 4:4); while the 1st redeemer, whose name is not mentioned, clearly represents Yahushua, Mashiach BenDavid, whose Name is above all names and has been hidden in our time, in the same way that the name of the first of the only two men who had the power and right to redeem her was hidden in the book of Ruth, who in turn symbolizes the Chosen Congregation (Rt.4:1).
Another important detail of the previous verse is that the “Overcomer” is promised that the name of the Almighty will be written on his forehead, which is יהוה (“Yahweh”), along with the name of the New Yerushalaim and the new name of the Messiah. Yahushua has been the name of the Messiah since before the foundation of the world, although for most people it is new, which is due to the fact that it was hidden by those who sought to get rid of it, since this was the name given to him when he manifested 2000 thousand years ago and that he left us in order to receive the Spirit of Truth (John 14:26). Therefore, the fact that Mashiach promises to write on the Conqueror his new name, is a sign that, in his second coming, Yahweh would manifest with a different name than Yahushua, so that he can give a valid testimony about the First, this time appearing as the Prophet like Moshe. This means, as Scripture teaches (Jn.8:13-18), that as the First could not bear witness of himself, no matter how valid it was, since the world would not accept him, he would have to return on another time, like the Last, to this time bear witness of his first coming, like Yahushua.
Just as the Creator manifested the first time on earth with the name Yahushua, to testify of Yahweh and fulfill the Torah of Moshe; in the end times, when the second coming is fulfilled, he will manifest with a new name, to testify of Yahushua and fulfill a role similar to that of Moshe, by gathering the elect and teaching the correct interpretation of the Torah. In other words, just as during the 1st manifestation the Son testified of the Father, now in his 2nd manifestation the Father testifies of the Son.
In addition, this shows us how the Last will be the Throne of Yahweh and of the Lamb, since the name of Yahweh and the new name of Mashiach will be written on his forehead, which connects with the following text and gives more light regarding what this new name will be and why it seems to be related to the name of the New Yerushalaim.
“But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them (1Ts.4:16), and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says Yahweh.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says Yahweh,
“That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;
a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
In His days Yahudah will be saved, and Yisrael will dwell safely;
Now this is His name by which He will be called:
YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. [“Yahwéh Tzidkenu”]
“Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says Yahweh, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As Yahweh lives who brought up the children of Yisrael from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As Yahweh lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Yisrael from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.”
In the previous verses Yahweh promises to collect, Himself, his chosen few during the harvest, in the same way that Paulus prophesies in his first letter to the Thessalonians, saying that “Yahweh himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel [MikaEl], and with the (7th) trumpet of Elohim; and the dead in Mashiach shall rise first” (1Ts.4:16). Yahweh begins and ends the previous text referring to the 2nd Exodus, period in which he will reap his Chosen, whom he calls “the Rest”, commonly called “the Remnant”, since there will be very few who will be taken alive to the prepared place, as Revelation 12 teaches. This 2nd Exodus will be even more amazing and miraculous than the previous one, since Yahweh reveals to us that we will not speak again of the exit from Egypt, where the waters of the sea parted, food fell from the sky, water came out of a rock in the desert and many other wonders; instead in the Kingdom of Yahweh we will talk about the events that are about to manifest in our time.
Yahweh also prophesies the next fulfillment of one of his greatest promises, which is the manifestation of David's Branch, in contrast to the Root, which is Yahushua (Rev.5:5). It is written that the Word of Yahweh is the Name of the Son and the Seed, so when Yahushua manifested two thousand years ago, Yahweh was sowing the Seed (Word) on earth, so that his Tree (the Kingdom) would begin to grow, however, once the Messiah ascended to heaven, after fulfilling his mission, the Iron Ax (Rome) entered and cut off the growth of the true congregation, which simply left a Trunk (the Few), until the end of time, when Yahweh promised that from that Trunk would come a Branch (Voice) that will bear Fruit (Chosen).
Prophet like Moshe
Yahweh mentions that the Branch will appear to reign, which confirms his identity as the Melek Gadol (“Great King”), since Yahushua manifested to fulfill the role of Kohen Gadol (“High Priest”). In addition, it is shown how even before the manifestation of Yahushua (the First) it had already been prophesied that it would be until the coming of the Last that Yahudah (Few) would be saved and Yisrael (Many) would dwell in safely, after which, Yahweh proceeds to reveal the name “Yahweh Tzidkenu”, as the title by which they will call the Son of Man, which means “Yahweh, our Justice”. These words are in contrast to what we find in the book of YishaYahu (Isa.7:14), in which Yahweh prophesied that Yahushua's name would be called Immanuel (“The Mighty One with Us”). This means that just as the name Yahushua brings Yahweh's presence to dwell with us, in the same way the name of the Last will be connected with Yahweh’s Justice which is about to manifest on earth.
‘Behold, the days are coming [End Times],’ says Yahweh, ‘that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Yisrael and to the house of Yahudah:
‘In those days and at that time
I will cause to grow up to David a Branch of righteousness;
He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
In those days Yahudah will be saved, and Yerushalaim will dwell safely.
And this is the name by which she will be called:
YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.’ [“Yahwéh Tzidkenu”]
“For thus says Yahweh: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Yisrael [1st Witness]; nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me [2nd Witness], to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.’ ”
These last verses finally complete the idea, since the words in the previous text are almost identical to those written in chapter 23, shown above; however, in this case when the name 'Yahweh Tzidkenu' is mentioned, is making reference to the name of the New Yerushalaim, which means that Mashiach’s new name and the name of the New Yerushalaim will be the same, since just as Yahushúa (the First) paid for the souls of the Chosen Congregation, so that they can access heaven to appear before the Most High; the Last, on the other hand, is connected to the city in which they will live, by making the New Yerushalaim descend from heaven, so he will finish manifesting the Kingdom of heaven on earth (Rev.21:1-5). This is why Mashiach promises the overcomer to write on his forehead the name of the New Yerushalaim and his new name; since just as Yitzhak, who represents Yahushúa, was the father of Esau and Yaakov, who represent the false and the true kehila respectively; likewise Yaakov, who symbolizes the Second Coming, that is, the Last, became the father of the 12 tribes and received a new Name (Yisrael), which was also given to the Promised Land, therefore, he will give a New Name to the Last and that same name will be given to the place where the chosen 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Yisrael will live, who will be his spiritual children. In summary, the First died for the Souls (interior), while the Last dies for the Bodies (exterior) that were made from the dust of the ground, therefore he dies for the earth itself; so one died for the Celestial, the other one dies for the Earthly.
Now, there is one more connection between the previous verses and the letter to Philadelphia, since the luminary of this Congregation is Jupiter, a planet that in Hebrew is called “Tzedek” [צדק], name that is the root of the second word mentioned in YirmYahu as the new name of Mashiach and the New Yerushalaim, which confirms that Jupiter is the luminary of Philadelphia, whose leader is the Witness like Moshe, who will receive the Name “Yahweh Tzidkenu” when fulfilling his mission.
